Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Operation Manager:

1. Planned, guided, and monitored production processes in a manufacturing unit

2. Ensure appropriate production rates to reduce delivery delays.

3. Coordinate with and push the supply chain that impacts production i.e. raw material, mold, etc.

4. Schedule maintenance and repair of machines used in the production process to avoid downtime or delays.

5. Assign/delegate shop work, and oversee that work is completed On time and spec.

6. Daily report to senior management On floor status. Prioritize safety, and ensure workshop personnel are practicing safe use of equipment.

7. Read and layout shop drawings.

8. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the workshop, and ensure that operators work within the company’s human resource policies.

9. Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

10. Manage and oversee the day-to-day workflow of production supervisory and engineering staff.

11. Responsible for all Manufacturing, Engineering, and Distribution operations as well as Manufacturing support functions like Sourcing and Planning.
